Business Development Representative (BDR)

Base is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced BDR (Business Development Representative) to work closely with Sales teams, to scope the market.

  • Sourcing, researching and contacting outbound leads 
  • Maintain contact with outbound leads to qualify and schedule decision-makers for sales calls (70% outbound, the rest of the leads are inbound)
  • Be responsible for building sales pipelines
  • Researching accounts, identifying key players, generating interest and developing relationships with important stakeholders
  • Disseminate opportunities and educate Account Executives as necessary
  • Overcome prospect objections
  • Work closely and collaborate with the sales team
  • Update CRM to ensure efficient lead management and record-keeping


  • At least 2 years of experience as a BDR/ SDR in a start up- a must
  • Successful development and management of outbound pipelines for SaaS companies.
  • Experience in creating engaging outbound campaigns that piqued potential customers' interest.
  • Experience in building relationships with potential clients.
  • Resourcefulness and high motivation to take part in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with marketing technology is a big plus!
  • A social selling playbook is a plus! 
  • Formal Sales training certification!
  • HubSpot experience is a plus!
